Yes, Yes, Yes!!! A hot, hot, hot 3- tracker from Domu. Original quality underground housemusic all the way! A heavy package of kick, bass and atmospheres with a whole lot of finesse. Raw Baby and Dusk is the perfect toy when it comes to primetime business (and we are talking serious deep bass). And you will definitely get ghostbumps all over when you tune into the mellow, but still moving, groover Understand Why. Beautiful strings, synths and hooks. A summer anthem witch will fit your set like a screwdriver into the lock of a car!

- Senor Lobo (Lovemonk)

I DO get the ghostbumpz with this.... Domu ALWAYS delivers... he's my ma in man in Bedford that's for sure. And why do you ask+ Because anytime he opens the lid to his pandoras box of musix we get to hear stuff we never heard before.... Understand why? I don't need to. i just need to listen and dance in my living room. By the way.... how much bass do you need at Dusk? Domu says: a LOT! Love the house vocals too.
- Andreas Saag aka Swellsession

Domu has never made a duff track, I like Dusk best but will play all 3.
- Andrew Jervis (Ubiquity Records)

- Ste (Sick Trumpet Records)

Good that Opolopo finally puts out another album. Many of the tunes I've heard previously, but others I haven't heard before are here too. Still that same tough-as-nails groove that Opolopo does so well; time to take it to the world! Full support!
- Velanche

Absolute Fire. Feeling the package and will support. Thanks for sending it my way.
- Boddhi Satva

Oh yeah let em in! This infectious & funked up groove makes me wonna holla. We at deephousemafia & superfly fm are feelin this one deep down! Cheers & please don´t stop that groove!
- Mierlansky (Deephousemafia)

Sorry for dwelling on the feedback.... I love this album.... so well produced it's ridiculous!! Proper funk space disco musix for 2009... especially diggin the broken vibes like on Street Lights, Lifes a Dance and Under the radar... Reminds me of good ol times with Kv5 and Agent K. So gald this kind of music is still around!! The intro of All Systems Down is mental.... Perfect groove! I wonder if you (Opolopo) ever heard Quant back in 2000-2005... such a big connection in sound and groove... Amalia keeping the whacky soul diva vibes up throughout the album... good stuff! My favourite track is the Sugar Beats mix.... fast and furiously fusionistic it's the kind of stuff that i always loved and the combination of live vs electronic is perfect. The programmed yet live sounding bass is to die for....
- Andreas Saag aka Swell Session

"Highly anticipated album by heavyweight futurist funk man Opolopo" - Beyondjazz

"Every time I hear music from Opolopo, my spirit lifts a little more. Technically and musically gifted, his risk taking grows with his confidence on every release. An undoubtedly necessary warrior in the new underground resistance to the norm." - Domu

"Always challenging, constantly surprising and definitely one of the leaders of the euro new school. Louder!!!" - Mark de Clive Lowe

"Opolopo and Amalia together is like FIRE!!!!!... I have to wear my oven mits to play their tunes!" - Daz-I-Kue

Release date: OUT NOW!
Format: 12” vinyl - digital download

This is the first release from Partners In Crime (aka Beatfanatic), which is a new swedish 80´s electronic disco project. Goin Underground is a fierce peaktime disco groover with cosmic styled synths, pumping beat and catchy bassline, very much in the flavour of Giorgo Moroder. On the flipside you will find Get In To It which is a slick, sensual, and balearic mid-tempo groover.

Beatfanatic is a one of Stockholms most productive producers, well known for his many productions for labels such as GAMM, Raw Fusion and as well his own imprint Sound Scape Records, to name few…

AND THE REACTION GOES SOMETHIG LIKE THIS...

"WICKED!!!!!!!!! Love it! Straight in da box!

- Blackjoy (Yellow Productions)

"Get in to it- is nice 80's style groover."
- Charles Webster (Miso Records)

"Really like Goin' Underground but if it would have been much slower it would be sexier IMO. Still a very well performed build up and I imagine it works great on a dancefloor! Quality release!"
- Andreas Saag aka Swellsession

"Get In To It is my fave here, I'm a sucker for those slow grooooves!"
- Simon Harrison (Basic Soul)

"A tasty 3 tracker ep; Goin' Underground, as it says on the tin, deep and spacey disco, groovy b- line and the additional of strings and electro stabs..- 6/10. Get in to it - slowmo spacey disco, defo a mellowed out groove with the haunting male vox. This is made for those lazy sunny afternoons... Feelin' this tune 7/10. Goin' Underground (PIC edit) - this edit gets beefed up beats, still retains the spacey disco effects and is defo a dancefloor groover... Lovin' the extra horns and strings... look forward to the release on vinyl."
- Nick the Greek

"Get In To It is my shit!!!"
- Still Rob G (Om Records)

"Quality!!!!! Get In To It is killing me. Will find a rightous place also to play Goin' Underground. Wonderful release, guys!"
- Alan Brown

Goin' Underground - not typical track for my dj set... but i can imagine myself playing it on a bigger floor or festival... I know that I will make lot of people happy by playing this track... pure fun... I think it's a big tune for this kind of music. Get In To It- will play it on radio... nice vibe!
- Eddy Ramich (Eddy meets Yannah)

"I like the summery vibes of Get In To It - we'll play this on the radio show - thanks."
- Andrew Jervis (Ubiquity Records)

Artist: Opolopo & Amalia
Title: Lights, Robots 'n' Love EP
Cat. No: SB016
Release date: OUT NOW!
Format: 12” vinyl - digital download

Opolopo & Amalia is back with a funky fresh 4 tracker. On this one you will find Under the Radar whitch will take you into 2009 in a futuristic way. A heavy bass-monster with razor sharp hooks along with deep groove and original soundscapes. Street Lights could be described as a soulful, vocal house groover. Amalia rips the track into pieces with her outstanding voice and performance. Quality stuff all the way…

On the flipside maestro Domu hits us with a remix of I Do (taken from Opolopo's fourthcoming album). A mad phat electro/ disco production added with some precussion bits á la Sergio Mendes to give it that extra spice. Loveley and atmospheric chords and sounds, along with a crunchy and crisp pumping beat. The instrumental version included as well. Yes it’s a killer. Period.

SOME FEEDBACK...

"Domu's mixes are the nuts! Yeah, brilliant stuff and definitely something I can play out." - Jimpster (Freerange Records)

"Nice quirky crunchy tuna, dig it and supoprt it. Any chance to get the All Systems Down Izmabad Vox Dub , too ???"
- Michael Reinboth (Compost)

"Absolutely rockin' shhh, feelin' da remixes as well, will play & chart (2nd Swedish Brandy on da chart , daaamn u guyz r on fire!!!) BIG UP" - Dj Simbad

"This is sick and mad. I will play and support!" - Alex Attias

I have loved Under The Radar for a minute, I think it is fresh and fat and a winner! My only worry is now everyone knows about one of my secret bombs! Deeper Shade of Soul is a sweet mix, and my mixes aren't too bad either! Great package worthy of spins from many different DJs. - Domu 10/10

A-up, well, what a package! Under the Radar wont go under mine - wobbly vsti overload thats tighter than a gnats vagina = top groover. Street Lights shine brightest on a nice summer evening = make a brandy 'n' coke, hold the ice though. While I do means I wont. Wont not play this out that is. Tar. - Ant Plate

Artist
: ANDRE ZIMMA
Title: M.U.S.I.C - THE ATJAZZ REMIXES
Cat No: SB015
Release date: OUT NOW! OK?
Format: 12” vinyl - digital download

The legendary producer, Dj and recordlabelowner Atjazz (Mantis Recordings) gives us two killer-remixes of Andre Zimma's broken beat afro-inspired track M.U.S.I.C. Atjazz, with his magic touch, turns this track into strictly NYC pressure. Played and charted by people like Gilles Peterson, Onsulade (which directly requested the track for his compilation Passage on BBE), Karizma and Opolopo to name a few.

On the flipside Atjazz delivers his stunning dub-mix, that carries a stripped smoking package of deep bass and dubby chords. So just drop the needle for a second, and you find that both cuts are essential dancefloor material with the purpose of making the crowd groove and move!

RAVELINE MAGAZINE
5/6 - Carsten Becker

GROOVE MAGAZINE
Funktioniert jedes Mal-versprochen.
